When to Go

Early mornings or right after high tide (or a little stormy magic!) are often the best times to find shells. Try heading out before the crowds. Every beach has its own rhythm!

Where to Look

Some spots are more magical than others. Rocky shores, tide pools, and sandy areas near reefs can be especially full of treasures but part of the fun is exploring and seeing what you find! 🐚

Be a Gentle Collector

Shelling is about appreciation, not taking everything in sight. Always choose empty, uninhabited shells, and never disturb living creatures or their homes. The goal is to collect mindfully and leave the beach better than you found it. If you see trash along the way, pick it up and give back to the ocean that gives us so much. Sustainable shelling means enjoying the beauty while protecting it, too. 💕
